When it comes to fashion, we all want to be trendy, look good and feel comfortable. Eid festivity calls for presenting the best version of ourselves. Outfits play a vital role in this regard as the saying goes, what you wear is how you present yourself to the world; especially today when human contacts are so quick, fashion is instant language.
This year, both Pahela Baishakh, first day of Bengali New Year, and Eid-ul-Fitr are being celebrated within the span of a week. So, fashion houses have come up with a wide range of product lines keeping an eye on tradition and modernity.
It has been observed that most of the emerging brands are aware of the global fashion trends as well as our domestic culture and traditions.

A delicate balance of tradition and modernity has brought about much-needed dynamism in the retail market.
With the target of catering to the needs of fashion conscious girls and women, the brands are displaying a vast collection of handloom silk and cotton sarees as well as other value-added sarees and embellished lawn dresses.

Talking to Daily Sun, a couple of entrepreneurs and fashion designers mentioned that the brands are focusing on light colours and cotton-made outfits as Eid comes in summer this year. Besides, an increasing number of women are showing their penchant for wearing outfits that reflect Bengali tradition.

“Although we are primarily focusing on Eid trends, we also have good collections of clothes that reflect Bengali culture and traditions. Besides, since we are going to celebrate Eid in summer, most of the customers are opting for cotton light colour fabric,” Biplob Saha, owner of Bishworang, told Daily Sun.
